It's the time of year to be making spirits bright, and my 2020 signature holiday cocktail comes courtesy of everyone's favorite reindeer. My husband is a musician, and he released a cover of Run Run Rudolph as a holiday treat for fans this year. Always on the lookout for a reason to whip up a new drinkie drink, I turned my amateur mixology skills toward my own riff on this swingin' Christmas carol.
Ingredients
3/4 ounce Rum
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
1/8 teaspoon pure Peppermint Extract
1/8 teaspoon maraschino cherry juice
4 1/2 ounces chilled Prosecco to top
Garnish with a "Rudolph Nose" or two (maraschino cherry)
Directions
Gently stir ingredients to mix, releasing bubbles.
Serve in a flute or coupe glass. Stream Run Run Rudolph to double your drinking pleasure.
